Independent Schools » New Roads
When New Visions Foundation started in 1994, its original mission was to launch independent schools to provide more equitable access to an excellent education. With that in mind, New Visions Foundation established New Roads School, which honors diversity, social justice, and the environment with its academically rigorous program.
New Roads commits 40% of its operating budget to support its expansive, need-based financial aid program, providing greater access for students who might otherwise not be able to attend.
New Roads is now its own 501(c)(3) non-profit entity, and is in partnership with New Visions Foundation to develop the Herb Alpert Educational Village.
