Derrick J. Amey is a senior associate in Institutional Client Services at Dimensional Fund Advisors with a focus on corporate defined contribution plans. In this role, he coordinates the development of marketing material to raise awareness of dimensional’s DC capabilities, and he services the needs of plan sponsors, consultants, and service providers. Before joining Dimensional in 2006, Derrick was a financial consultant for three years at AXA advisors. He was previously a product development engineer at Mattel, Inc, and Simon Marketing, Inc.
Derrick earned his MBA with a focus in investments from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and his B.S. in industrial engineering from Stanford University. Derrick has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
